ShiftKey spotlights strategic leadership updates amidst rapid growth and impact

Technology company continues to recruit impressive executive roster to drive vision forward amidst rebrand

July 12, 2023 (DALLAS) – ShiftKey, a leading technology company transforming the future of work, today spotlighted strategic leadership updates following the company’s rebrand announcement

Most recently, ShiftKey announced that former Chief Revenue Officer Mike Vitek was appointed CEO, succeeding Tom Ellis to build on his vision of technology as a means to empowerment, stability and growth for independent licensed professionals, healthcare facilities, and the communities they serve.

Vitek brings 20+ years of experience in technology, healthcare, recruitment, and business management to the role, with a focus on empowering communities to thrive. His strategic leadership of ShiftKey’s growth in his previous role as chief revenue officer, combined with his creative energy and commitment to investing in people, positions ShiftKey to continue growing in strong partnership with the board.

“I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to lead this company through its next stage of growth. I could not be more excited about where we are and where we are headed,” shared Vitek earlier this year. “We have an incredible team of leaders, and this company inspires me every day to show up and do my best. As CEO, I will continue to make sure that we are leading with passion to achieve a future where technology is empowering the healthcare industry – facilities, leaders and professionals – to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of the people they serve.”

Former Executive Vice President Brandon Tappan succeeds Vitek as Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining ShiftKey, Tappan spent more than a decade on the facilities side, bringing an important perspective to the work ShiftKey does every day, ensuring the platform and product bring true solutions to ShiftKey’s core customer base.

In January, on the heels of a major funding announcement exclusively covered in Axios, ShiftKey announced several strategic executive hires, including Ryan Bonifacino, Chief Marketing Officer; Thomas Fredell, Chief Product Officer; and Brian Scott, Chief Strategy & Financial Officer.

These strategic executive hires build on an already impressive executive roster, pooling the most experienced leaders in technology, business, workforce policy and change, healthcare, and strategic communications together to tell a powerful story and bring real solutions to an industry – and broader workforce – in crisis.
